Alice & Isaac's Minecraft Server

witherme.

A private Minecraft Java server for the neighborhood, with optional voice chat on Discord. Three steps below take you from nothing to playing with everyone.

Server address

play.witherme.com Java · 26.1.2

Minecraft: Java Edition on PC/Mac — not Bedrock. (You'll set version 26.1.2 in Step 1.)

1

Install & set up Minecraft

Get the right version installed and add the server, so you're ready the moment you're added.

01

Buy Minecraft: Java Edition

Go to minecraft.net/get-minecraft, sign in with (or create) a Microsoft account, and buy Minecraft: Java & Bedrock for PC.

Must be Java Edition on a computer — the phone / Xbox / Switch version (Bedrock) can't join this server.
02

Install the Launcher & set version 26.1.2

Install the Minecraft Launcher and sign in. Go to InstallationsNew installation → pick release 26.1.2 → name it withermeCreate.

Don't use "Latest release" — it's a newer version and the server will turn you away.
03

Add the server

Launch your 26.1.2 installation → MultiplayerAdd Server. For Server Address enter play.witherme.comDone.

All set up — next, get added in Step 2 so you can actually join.
2

Request access & join

The server is private, so you have to be added before you can join. Just fill out one short form — that's it.

  • Name — so Alice & Isaac know who's who.
  • Minecraft username — your exact in-game name (this is what gets added to the server).
  • Email — so Alice & Isaac can email you a Discord invite for voice chat (Step 3). Optional, but recommended.

Alice & Isaac add your username (usually same day) and email your Discord invite. Once you're added, open Minecraft → Multiplayer → select withermeJoin Server. You're in!

3

Set up voice chat (Discord)

Optional but way more fun — talk with everyone while you play. Voice chat runs on Discord (free, separate app from Minecraft). After Step 2, Alice & Isaac email you an invite.

01

Download Discord

Get it free at discord.com/download (computer) or the App Store / Google Play (phone). It also works right in a web browser.

02

Make a Discord account

Open Discord and create an account (or sign in). You'll pick a username and verify your email.

03

Accept the invite Alice & Isaac emailed you

Check the email from Alice & Isaac for the invite link, open it, and click Accept Invite — that drops you into the witherme Discord server.

No email yet? Make sure you gave an email in Step 2, and check spam.
04

Join the voice channel

In the witherme Discord, click the voice channel (the one with a 🔊 speaker icon) to hop in. Now you can talk with everyone while you play. Use the mic/headphone icons to mute yourself or others.

If something goes wrong

"Outdated client / server"

Your version isn't 26.1.2 — redo Step 1 and pick release 26.1.2.

"You are not white-listed"

You're not added yet, or your username was misspelled. Double-check Step 2 used your exact username.

Can't connect / "Failed to authenticate"

Fully quit Minecraft and the Launcher, reopen, confirm you're signed into Microsoft, try again.

No Discord invite arrived

Check spam, and confirm you gave a working email in Step 2. Still nothing? Submit the form again.

Be a good neighbor. This is everyone's world — please don't break, burn, or take other people's builds. Build your own and have fun together.
